What is BYOC?

Already have a card? Keep it.

If you already own an RFID charge card, pair it with POWR as an auth method for your charging station. The card then works to start and stop a charge at your POWR-paired charging stations, saving you an extra card. There is no obligation to use the POWR card.

Do I need the POWR card if I use BYOC?
No. You can use your own card for your home wallbox and do not need to order a POWR card. If you want to charge in public, the POWR card offers Europe-wide roaming.
Does BYOC work for public charging too?
No. BYOC works only at your own POWR-paired charging stations. You cannot use your own cards for public charging via POWR. For that, the rates and terms of the respective card provider apply directly.
Which cards can I pair?
You pair an existing RFID charge card. Additional MIFARE and RFID cards can also be paired.
